Emily Davies-Hygienist

Emily is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their oral health. After earning her dental hygiene degree from Columbia Basin Community College, she began her career at a pediatric dental office in Spokane. She later gained valuable experience working in several dental offices on the west side of the state. Following her husband’s graduation, Emily was excited to return to her hometown and join Riverway Family Dental.

She truly values the opportunity to care for the community that helped shape her and is dedicated to creating a positive, welcoming experience for every patient. Outside the office, Emily enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. She loves cheering on her kids at their various activities and feels grateful to be part of the Wenatchee Valley community.

Courtney Lak-Hygienist

Courtney is a registered dental hygienist with over 15 years of experience in the dental field. She is also a certified myofunctional therapist who is passionate about helping patients develop healthy habits that support lifelong oral wellness. Born and raised in the Wenatchee Valley, Courtney is committed to creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient she serves. Outside of the office, she enjoys teaching yoga, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with her two children.

Britney – Restorative Dental Hygienist

Britney Britney brings nearly 15 years of experience as a restorative dental hygienist and a true passion for patient care. A graduate of Yakima Valley College, she loves helping patients feel comfortable-whether she’s placing fillings or providing gentle, painless local anesthesia. Her calm, friendly approach and bilingual skills help patients feel understood and at ease from the moment they walk in. Britney takes pride in creating healthy, confident smiles while treating every patient like family. When she’s not in the office, Britney is busy with her five kids, traveling for soccer games and enjoying music together as a family.

Stephanie has been an integral part of our hygiene team since 2010. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from the Oregon Institute of Technology in 1999 and moved to the Wenatchee Valley in 2008. Known for her gentle approach and attention to detail, Stephanie has a genuine commitment to helping patients feel comfortable, informed and confident about their oral health. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her three boys and her partner, John. You will find them taking advantage of the area’s many opportunities for outdoor recreation or at home with their rescue puppies, Delilah and Simon, and a good book.

Michelle – Hygienist

Michelle graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University in 2006 and graduated magna cum laude. She has been part of our team since 2010 after working in a specialty periodontal office treating advanced periodontal conditions. Michelle and her husband have two sons and enjoy family time as well as being involved in their church

Jessica – Hygienist

Jessica started off doing sterilization in our office while getting prerequisites for hygiene school. She attended Columbia Basin College, where she received an associates in science and dental hygiene. Jessica enjoys getting to work with people and strives for patient comfort. She enjoys spending time with her family and keeping busy with her two kids.

Jena Gwinn – Hygienist

Jena graduated from the University of Washington in 2012 and joined our team in 2014. She and her husband, Joe, enjoy spending time with their son, Brooks, and are excited to welcome a little sister for him in the summer of 2026. Outside the office, Jena enjoys biking, hiking, and just about any outdoor activity. Professionally, she focuses on building trusting relationships with her patients, creating individualized treatment plans that encourage collaboration and active involvement in their care.

Susan – Scheduling Coordinator

Susan is our scheduling coordinator and receptionist and has been working in the dental field for over 40 years. She is very much a people person who enjoys getting to know new patients and always loves seeing the many patients she has come to know over the years. Susan is an active member of Grace Lutheran Church and volunteering and being a part of her church family. She loves to spend time with friends and family and her cat Tom.

Tina – Insurance Specialist

Tina is our insurance specialist and has been working in dentistry since 2002. Previously she worked with a large corporate dental insurance company and understands all facets of dental insurance very well. Tina and her husband have two children and in her free time she enjoys working with guide dogs for the blind as well as shopping, sewing and knitting.

Theresa – Office Manager

Theresa is our Office Manager and truly enjoys being part of such an incredible team. She loves getting to know our patients, helping them feel comfortable, and assisting them with their scheduling and treatment needs. Theresa has been in the dental field since 1996 and brings decades of experience and dedication to our practice. Outside of the office, she stays busy caring for her yard and helping her husband, Jeff, with their upholstery business. Theresa enjoys music, spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, flower gardening, and interior design. Most of all, she cherishes time spent with her chow chow, Meesha.

Brie – Front Office

Brie grew up in the Wenatchee Valley and loves calling this area her home. She has been in the dental industry for 16 years and her favorite part about dental is meeting patients and getting to know their unique stories. Her favorite part about Riverway Family Dental is that she gets to be part of a team that eases patients’ nerves and fears by providing a comforting and open environment. She has an amazing husband that she met here in Wenatchee during Apple Blossom in 2004 and two sports loving sons. On the weekends, you can find her with her family skiing, camping, at the baseball fields, swimming or paddleboarding!

Mia – Dental Assistant

Mia was born and raised in the Wenatchee Valley. After graduating, she moved to Bozeman, Montana, where she completed dental assisting school and worked in the field for several years. Upon returning to the valley, she continued her education and earned her National Board Certification in Dental Assisting. From a young age, Mia knew she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable in the dental chair and confident in their smiles. Mia loves living in the valley and experiencing all four seasons. In her free time, she enjoys snow skiing, camping, boating, hiking. and spending time outdoors. During quieter moments, she enjoys reading, completing puzzles, gardening, creating jewelry, and watching the squirrels in her backyard.

McKenna – Dental Assistant

McKenna moved to the Wenatchee area in 2025 and brings four years of experience in the dental field to the team. She loves being a dental assistant and is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and genuinely cared for at every visit. McKenna believes a positive experience can make all the difference and enjoys being part of a team that helps create healthy, happy smiles. Outside of work, McKenna enjoys reading, painting, spending time outdoors, and making memories with her friends and family.

Ciana – Sterile Technician

Ciana is our Sterile Technician and has lived in the Wenatchee Valley since the spring of 2017. Originally from San Diego, CA. She enjoys reading, spending time with her loved ones, hot yoga, and really enjoys the culinary arts. Recently married her husband James in May of 2024. They both enjoy going for walks, traveling, paddle boarding, floating the Wenatchee River, and everything outdoors. And she is truly grateful and thankful for the life that she’s made here.

Maribel Rodriguez Dental Assistant

Maribel has worked in the dental field since 2006, beginning her career after graduating from Eastmont High School and completing her studies at Bates Technical College. She started as a dental assistant at CVCH in the Wenatchee Valley and has since gained experience in billing, treatment coordinating, and leadership roles as a back-office coordinator and lead assistant. Maribel is passionate about the many specialties within dentistry and takes pride in helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles while creating positive, comfortable experiences. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying active outdoors. Her favorite activities include biking, swimming, hiking, and camping. She also enjoys teaching children at her church and giving back to her community.

Jovon Thompson – Dental Assistant

Jovon Thompson was raised in the Wenatchee valley. She has been part of our team since 1999. She loves being a dental assistant. In her spare time she loves spending time with her husband and son. They have a small hobby farm. The farm has a large garden area. The animals they have are Goat’s, chickens and bees. She also loves to hike, sew and bake bread.
